The
Purpose of Rotaract
The
purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to
enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development,
to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote
better relations between all people worldwide though a framework of friendship
and service.
What is Rotaract?
Rotaract is a worldwide
organisation of young men and women aged 18-30 who believe they can make a
difference, through community and international service projects. Rotaract helps
to improve the lives of the people around them. In doing so they develop
leadership and professional skills while establishing a network of friends.
There are always heaps of social activities. Rotaract is friendship in action.

Rotaract History
Rotaract was founded in 1968
by Rotary International, a worldwide association of business and professional
leaders. The word Rotaract is a
combination of Rotary and Action. Since
1968 Rotaract has grown to over
7300 clubs in 150 countries with a membership of over 170,000.
