The Ba Rotary Club is a non profit civil organisation formed in 1972 is part of a world wide organisation Rotary International having 1,193,461 individual members in 29,728 Clubs grouped into 528 Districts and In 161 countries.

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster* FIRST the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service, SECOND, High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupation, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society, THIRD the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life; FOURTH the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship *of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

The mission statement of Rotary International is to assist and guide Rotarians and Rotary Clubs to accomplish the Object of Rotary, to ensure Rotary's 'continuing relevance, and to help build a better world, emphasising service activities by individuals and groups that enhance the quality of life and human dignity, encouraging high ethical standards, and creating greater understanding amongst all people to advance the search for peace in the world.

The Rotary Club of Ba was assisting many disadvantaged families in the Ba area. In the last decade it carried out the following Projects:

1.
Arranged Rotahomes to some forty families.
2.
Established 10 bee farms.
3.
Established 8 School nurseries.
4..
Assisted Schools with Library Books
5.
Educate a Child Project and donated $40,000 as school fees.
6.
Ba Mortuary Project costing $40,000
7.
Borehole Project providing Borehole equipment for delta wells with the Assistance of the Rotary Club of Thorlie, WA. & Ausaid
8.
Organised the grant of $12,000.00 schools under Children's Opportunity Grant
9.
Purchased and acquired 12 wheel chairs for Handicapped
10.
Assisted Methodist Mission, Ba with equipment, shed, wheelchair, etc.
