The project was displayed at the Rotary World Conference in Singapore in June, 1999. The display which was an excellent presentation was prepared by John Wren with the Assistance from the Rotary Club of Ellerslie Sunrise and other spponsors from Auckland Dijendra Singh, John Wren, Julie Sobiecki attended the Singapore Conference and reported that tremendous support for the project was evident.

John Wren has been delegated the task of liasing with all those who showed interest in the project and solicit funding for the Project.

Funding for the RotaCottages appears to be organised. There was tremendous support show for project internationally. However, funding for the infrastructure such as roads, landscaping, bulk store, sheds for budding, storage, beautification, security arrangements, second Volunteer's cottage, survey, plan lodging, extensions of water scheme, maintenance of water scheme, administration and promotion, stationery, photographs and recurrent outgoings such as power bills, reception of visitors and VIP visitors to the Village, communications, transport etc, is yet to be organised.

Government assistance has so far been restricted to the grant of land only.

The Rotary Club of Ellerslie Sunrise and District 9920 commends the project to you. A great deal has been achieved in establishing the foundations of the Ba village. However, it is now necessary for additional support and funds to be found for the dream to be completely realised.
