The Rotary Club of Moorleigh was
chartered on 19th June 1984 with twenty-four members and
derived its name from the localities of Bentleigh, Moorabbin and
Oakleigh. However, to become more geographically recognised, in 2000 the
members elected to extend the name to Moorleigh-Bentleigh East.
Our club is a small to medium
sized Club, which fosters strong fellowship and friendship. There is a
broad range of ages within the men and women members, and the membership
reflects a diverse nature of vocations and occupations.
|
Members are encouraged to develop
their individual talents through committee work and public contact and
to obtain personal satisfaction from putting something back into the
community.
|
|
|
|
Rotarians endeavour to live by the
ethic of The 4 Way Test of the things we think, say or do:
|
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and
BETTER FRIENDSHIPS
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all
concerned?
Our Rotary Club is always looking
for energetic and enthusiastic people who are interested in serving the
community through Rotary. Membership involves regular meeting attendance
and participation in hands-on projects, as well as involvement in social
