The Rotary Club of Sylvania was chartered in February, 1991. The Club is situated in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, Australia. The meeting suburb of Sylvania is regarded as the "Gateway to the Shire".
The Sutherland Shire is known as the "Birthplace of the Nation", due to the fact that Captain James Cook first set foot on Australian shores at Kurnell, a suburb of the "Shire"
The Rotary Club of Sylvania meets at the Karimbla Cafe, in the Miranda Community Centre, 93 Karimbla Rd, Miranda.
