HE IS SEEN TO HAVE A WIDE EXPERIENCED IN WCS MATTERS. The meeting found Rotarian Aussie-Stone to be widely experienced in 3rd world development solutions. He advised that he had worked in, 9 developing country Governments on culturally respecting, village development, matters. They were PNG, Fiji, India, Pakistan, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Nepal, and Zambia. He also advised that he had been an Affiliate of the UN's WTO.To be an Affiliate of the WTO, a UN Agency, which entitles the Affiliate to speak at international meetings of Sovereign Governments, the Affiliate has to be first accredited by his National Government. In Marc's case this being the Australian Federal Government. They endorsed Marc to be an Affiliate of the WTO as being financially sound, professionally competent and able to give worthwhile advice to Sovereign Governments.
SEEN TO BE WIDELY EXPERIENCED IN PUBLICITY, BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT MATTERS. He advised that he had been the Past World President of PATWA, Pacific and Australasia Travel Writer Organisations, a UNESCO affiliated development journalist, was the originator of the current multi billion dollar Time Sharing and Time Interval Exchange schemes in USA, and now widespread and accepted and used globally. He advised that he had been the 1st National Director of the Australan Motion Picture Industry Production Council.
Marc advised he was the National Launch Marketing Manger of KFC Australia, before Australia had any other fast food businesses, and that during that period he had made many innovations that had progressed both industries. As well he had built , owned, operated and sold back to KFC International, 5 KFC stores employing 100 plus persons, for a substantial profit. In todays terms for more than $1,000,000 profit.
HE HAS ORGANISED POSITIVE ROTARY PUBLICITY Since joining Rotary Marc has organised the following positive publicity for Rotary. One full page story in the USA Truckee Newspaper, two full page stories in the Fiji Times , a 3 page, cover story, in Pacific RDU Magazine, a Newtown Club story in the Sydney Glebe Newspaper which has attracted one new member and he organised for PDG Peter Foley to give a 30 minute Rotary talk on Fiji Bula Radio.
HE HAS COVENED AND FUNDED MANY INDIGENOUS DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION CONFERENCES. He advised that he had been the convenor and private funder of many Indigenous peoples educations forums including 3 Aboriginal and Pacific Island Business Leaders Development Conferences in Australia and the 1st, 5 indigenous nations, Eco-development, Conference in Canada. He advised that over the past 20 years he had also been a keynote or main speaker at the World Ecotourism, the World Adventure Travel, the World Ecodevelopment, the World Heritage Interpretation, and at UN linked Tourism Development, and at Hotel and Resort Design, global conferences.
In all Rotarian Marc Aussie-Stone presented to fellow Rotarians that he was a very able and committed persons to implement and follow through with new Rotary thinking on sustainable WCS projects.
Last year Rotarian MarcAussie-Stone was one of 20 persons invited globally to address the World Bank, UN and WTO Agencies on global sustainable development solutions at a special International, European based, Conference. He turned down this invitation due to a current misunderstanding between himself and RI and RF.

IN 1982 FIJI VILLAGE CHIEF ASKS AUSSIE-STONE TO PLAN A DEVELOPMENT SOLUTION. Rotarian Aussie-Stone explained to the Rotary Clubs at the Pacific Focus meeting how in 1982 he had been in Fiji as part of an international communications delegation , hosted by the Fijian Government. At its conclusion, he had been sought out, by the Village Chief, Ratu Poate, and asked to find an appropriate development solution to remove the poverty from his once well kept, self sufficient, village. As a result of that invitation Marc , with the help of so many other wonderful, committed, service giving, people, had designed and developed the Vatukarasa Village, sustainable, development model .
FIJI GOVERNMENT LIST VALUE OF AUSSIE-STONE'S GIFT TO VILLAGE TO ASSIST ITS DEVELOPMENT AT MORE THAN $500,000. In the 15 years following the Chief's request for help Rotarian Aussie-Stone had engaged, and personally funded, 3 teams of non Rotarian, professionals, volunteers. The first being a 20 member team that he took to Vatukarasa Village in 1985. Over that time and until today he had personally funded the villages development pursuits, hurricane damage repairs , ablution block construction, funerals, equipping its football teams and paid the overseas air passage and training of 4 teams of village leaders to Canada, USA and Australia. The Department of Fijian Affairs has recorded , in a confidential Cabinet Paper, the value of Rotarian Aussie-Stones gifted assistance to Vatukarasa Village, before he became a Rotarian at more than $A500,000.
