The Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a vocational exchange for business people and professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 who are in the early stages of their careers.

Team members experience the host country's culture and institutions, observe how their vocations are practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships and exchange ideas.

Pride of Workmanship Award is a community recognition for outstanding achievements in a choosen career - Vocational Service programs of these are recognised by Rotary Clubs.

Rotarians Against Malaria - RAM

Rotarians are reducing the effects of Malaria with treated bed nets, microscapist services & education.

Clubs combine towards District matching grants for treated nets to benefit villages in New Guinea & the Solomons Islands.

RAM is a voluntary organization of Rotary Clubs and Districts to work on malaria control. RAM is NOT Rotary International. Rotary Clubs and Districts independently select causes they work on.

Nevertheless, the Rotary International Foundation generously provides matching grants and other support to RAM efforts along with other efforts by individual clubs and districts.

Rotary Oceananic Assistance for Children

To provide medical treatment to developing countries in the form of life saving and/or dignity retoring surgery

ROMAC is assisted by many eminent Australian surgeons who generously respond to request for assistance, this humanitarian program has provided over 300 children fron 20 countries with urgent medical treatment that has given them new hope.

ShelterBox - is a registered UK Charity that provides emergency victims of natural and other disaster anywhere in the world. Since operations in January 2001, over 600 thousand poeple in more than 45 countries have benefited by relief - Shelterbox responds to earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanoes etc. Rotary clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Germany and the USA all supports this.

The GAVI Alliance is a unique organisation that aligns public and private resources in a global effort to create greater access to the benefits of immunisation. It does this with precision and in creative, innovative ways to ensure that donor contributions efficiently save lives and help build self-sufficiency in the world’s poorest communities and regions.

Inner Wheel objectives are to promote friendship, to encourage the ideals of service, to foster international understanding

Inner Wheel International was formed in Manchester in 1924, in 1931 the first meeting for Inner Wheel Australia was formed at Ballarat Vic, followed by a North Sydney Club been formed. Ballarat club disbanded in 2001, North Sydney club is still an active club today.

HESS- takes place in December each year and brings together 100 Year 11 students who are interested in pursuing engineering as a career.

In past years students have come from all over NSW and the ACT, including regional and city centres such as Broken Hill, Tumbarumba and Inverell. The students are also taken behind the scenes of some major engineering companies and projects to see engineers at work.

HESS is an initiative supported by Engineers Australia - Sydney Division, Honeywell, NSW Engineering Universities and participating Rotary Districts.

Each year Rotary Youth Exchange provides thousands of young people worldwide with an opportunity to experience the cultures and accomplishments of people in other countries.

The ambassadorial nature of the exchange promotes world understanding and peace. Youth Exchange is an official program of Rotary International and allows around 8000 students to exchange annually to around 60 different countries.
