CHANGES THE GUARD

District
Governor Irene Jones, President Jill Everett and Past President, Denise Martin
“Rotary Women
making a difference and leading the way”
The Rotary Club of Orange recently held their
changeover lunch at the Hotel Orange to congratulate outgoing President, Denise
Martin for an impressive year and to welcome incoming President, Jill Everett.
At a luncheon to celebrate the 2009/10 year Rotary
Daybreak members and guests came together to unanimously congratulate past
President, Denise Martin for a year of significant achievements.
The past year is one that the Rotary Club of Orange
Daybreak can certainly reflect upon with pride.
In her closing
speech Denise said, “Our Club achieved a number of significant goals throughout
the year which culminated in the donation both locally and internationally of nearly $85,000. This included the finalisation of our
commitment of $50,000to Care West Lodge which was raised over three years. I am particularly proud of Daybreak’s $50,000
donation to Care West Lodge.

The changeover luncheon was enjoyed by all. The
occasion was well attended with the 2009-2010 District Governor Irene
Jones, representatives from other local Rotary clubs and Daybreak members and
Associates who were keen to mark the year and are looking forward to another
successful year with strong leadership that is dedicated to valuable community
service.
