2008-09 “Make Dreams Real”

Parramatta Daybreak (Inc.)

In 2008 we sponsored two special projects:

1. Village Aide in Cebu the Philippines—where we contributed to a food aid program and the renovation of a Child Care Centre.

2. Police Citizens Youth Club & Anglicare Street Outreach—where we fund a joint project that runs a Certificate Two in “Living Skills” for homeless/Unemployed youth in the Parramatta Area.

3. In addition we also support a number of other projects, such as ShelterBoxes.

 

In 2007 the Club’s Fundraising supported

· Parramatta Daybreak Primary Schools Citizenship Awards

· Rotary Against Malaria – purchase of nets.

· Shelterbox project

· Parramatta Police and Community Youth Club

· Cure Our Kids – purchase of ‘doll’

· Parramatta Salvation Army—Christmas Hampers

· Red Cross Refugee Christmas Presents

The Club

· Assists with the  Parramatta Mission Breakfast in November

· Cooked the BBQ for Cure Our Kids

· Worked at Donations In Kind depot

· Collected Shoeboxes for Sri Lanka

 

 

 

 

· Donated Christmas gifts to a Red Cross family

· Jointly hosted inbound Group Study Exchange team
