Congratulations PP Rod on your efforts and excellent results during your presidential year. I feel that the club as a whole deserves a wellearned pat on the back in recognition of a highly successful Rotary year. We should all say “well done’’.

What an enjoyable changeover function on Friday night; ably organised by PP Rod and his team.

Congratulations to our new Paul Harris Fellows Kevin Beltrame and Bradley Ayres and also to Niall King and Ray Wilson in receiving their sapphire pins. Megan Tarrant was also awarded a Paul Harris Fellow, proudly presented by DG/passed DG Harley. It is great to see the outstanding efforts of these five individuals recognised in this way.

On a sad note, Janet’s mum of 86 years passed away in the early hours of Friday morning 29/6/07 after a long illness. We thank the club for the beautiful floral arrangement and for the sincere thoughts of fellow Rotarians.

Tonight’s Club Forum will be a brief presentation from the Board members on their plans for the year ahead. Also there will be a job/life talk from one of our newer Rotarians.

I look forward to another enjoyable year of fellowship and community service.
