RYDE TAFE: MEETING OUR CHEFS

Last Wednesday a number of Rotarians and their partners experienced a wonderful menu of food provided by Ryde TAFE students in the College's Ambassador restaurant; it was sumptuous, a repast you would expect from a high quality commercial establishment. At the end of our meal Bradley took some photos when we met up with our student chefs. Under is a slide show

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

There is a great concern in Rotary about membership retention. Our own President Peter said "I was alarmed to learn (among others things) that while we have 1.2 million members world wide – we have “lost” 1.6 million Rotarians over the last 6 years." Its startling isn't it?

At the last Rotary International Convention a focus group came up with some ideas. Read the summary of ideas (Click) and say what you think. Could you choose 5 suggestions or make up some of your own?

FROM THE PRESS

PP Rod McDougall, our energetic reporter says "that we received good coverage of the police award and the Strathfield Girls literary event in the latest issue of the Burwood Scene.  The photos are Bradley's, the words mine - slightly edited by Editor Belinda Noonan to bring them up to the required standard! "

The extracts of the press releases have been put in our online scrapbook of press clippings click
