| In 1992 the Burwood
Rotary initiated an annual raffle to raise funds
for community organizations. At that time
it raised $25,000 for local projects and since
then it has steadily grown every year until it
has become the most successful fund-raising project
in Rotary's history in Australia.
The Community Chest is structured to bring the
maximum benefits to
all participants in theprogram - not just the
people who win the prizes. |
