The object is to give each of the participants an opportunity to meet and be inspired by experienced business people who will provide both inspirational addresses and informative insights into their business history. The purpose is to forearm the participants for the traps that lie ahead and give them the skills they need to overcome the challenges and help them expand their businesses and use the resources that they have at hand, effectively, including Government support of new business.
Each participant is given a personal trainer to look at their business and help them with marketing, web page management, staff management and objectivity.
Tuesday was the culmination of 3 workshops and 8 hours of 1 on 1 mentoring and was an exposition of their products and business. Fifteen participant were involved in the programme.
Our two participant were Rachel Kimber of Red Lily Floral Design East Blaxland Shopping Centre and Joa McClain of The Climbing Centre Penrith and Leura. Both were sponsored by us for $200 each. They reported very positive outcomes from the program and on the night made special thanks for the support of the Rotary Club of the Lower Blue Mountains.
