The Lower Mountains Family Support Group provide short-term help for people in this area,with problems due to loss of job through sickness or similar!

Often a few months support is sufficient to ensure these families move towards self sufficieny once more without losing everything they have workd for.

We supported this worthy organisation once again this year with a cash donation of $5000 towards their ongoing costs. We have also participated in their monthly food collection at IGA Blaxland. Thanks to Peter McGann and his wife Eileen for taking over from Heather Watkins in this program
