These three local programs are Youth programs, each, at its own level stretching the young particpants and helping them learn more about the world and its occupants. Rotarians from this and other clubs, work together to provide venues, speakers, transport and where appropriate judges for these events. Schools are asked to help by advertising the programs and where they can, putting forward young people to participate. Rypen is a programme for girls and boys of average capabilities aged between 14 and 16 years, possessing qualities of decency, persistence, sincerity and application in every day life, and who would benefit from further development. RYDA - Rotary Youth Driver Awareness The Rotary Youth Driver Awareness Program targets Year 11 students.
