Pride of Workmanship Awards
“Do it once. Do it well. Build a better Australia”
The award is designed to acknowledge an employee, irrespective of age or vocation, who in the eyes of his/her employer, displays outstanding qualities in terms of approach, attitude and commitment to their particular field of work.
The award is intended to cover all aspects of work performance and ethics, inclusive of quality, quantity of output, safety, initiative, sense of responsibility etc.
The award is not a competition—it is recognition of individual achievement and commitment.
Employees are asked to ensure that the Awardee is acknowledged in their workplace.
The award aims to encourage favourable employer/employee relationships and a sense of community pride in their individual achievements.
Finally it provides an opportunity for Rotary to be involved in the community, particularly the business community.
