Well, 2008 is coming to a close very quickly and before it does, I would like to mention a few important points:

• Enjoy my End of Year Newsletter with over 70 pictures in it!
• The 2008 Director’s Annual Report is where you will find a summary of this year’s accounts and main events.
• With the continuing expansion of the school so too is the need for specialised western workers. Please check our Job Vacancies section for more details on the these vacant positions: Visitor/Marketing, Purchasing and Administration.
• With another 150 children joining our schools next year, we really, really need support for our sponsorship packages. Please help us by circulating the sponsorship special newsletter which I sent out a few months ago so these children and their new teachers will have sponsors and stay in school next year.
• Spaces on the July 2009 and October 2009 tour groups are filling up so please email me to hold a space if you are considering joining a group so you will not be disappointed. July group is for Australians and the October group is for anyone from anywhere.
• The 2008 AGM notice of The East African Fund Inc and Agenda of the AGM meeting is on our website
