Hello Everyone,

 

I am humbled and extremely grateful to have received so many supportive and understanding emails over the past week in response to my letter regarding the current economic situation at St Jude’s. It’s so encouraging to know we have such a loyal and dedicated global team behind our efforts for the students and staff over here. Thank you all so much.

 

The January Newsletter has mainly cheerful news which I know you will enjoy reading … even the tribute to our young Yuda who fought valiantly for his life until last Christmas Eve.

 

Our “Friends of St Jude’s” program is gathering momentum around the world as so many of you continue to share the mission and vision of St Jude’s with your friends, acquaintances and workmates over a morning tea, backyard BBQ, sausage sizzle, film night, bake-a-sponge-cake contest or even a B&S Ball! (For those who don’t know, and haven’t read my book, that’s a Bachelors’ and Spinsters’ Ball – what we did in the country before internet dating!!).
