Aussie Promotional Events I was totally amazed at how many events you can pack into two months but it wouldn’t have been possible without the huge numbers of people who worked like the drover’s dog to arrange them all. It was a logistical nightmare sometimes but worth every phone call, change of plan, highway dash at dawn, red eye flight and sleepless night! I so enjoyed meeting new supporters, catching up with so many long term team members and now look forward to welcoming you to the school so you can see what you have helped us to accomplish!
Please bear with us! And because of all the hard work done by so many of you promoting the school, the team on the ground here now is working 20-hour days processing all the donation and sponsorship requests. Currently, we are up to the 15th June so if you signed onto our website since then, please be patient as we are getting to you. If you signed up before the 12th June and have not heard from us regarding the allocation of your money, please let me know.
Testing starts again in August! We are so thrilled that the support we received from so many of you means that all our current students now have sponsors! This also means we will be able to enrol the class of 2010 – the next 150 students. But that’s the relatively easy part – we still have to fund the new boarding houses, new staff members, new text books, more stationery, more food and extra fuel for buses and generators. So, keep spreading the word!
Boarding Room Sponsorship Package A very special ‘thank you’ to all the supporters who are getting behind our most pressing need – sponsorship of a Boarding Room package. You are assisting us to provide the crucial requirements of nutritious food, clean water, comfortable sleeping conditions and good academic and moral instruction in a safe and secure environment.
Jobs-listed on our website Qualified and experienced Teacher Librarians are needed for our three libraries! We also need some good administrators to help us with our current and future office loads!
There is still a lot of work ahead for all of us but the future is looking positive!
