Gemma is now in Australia and sends this special message:
Thanks to everyone for your support so far. I really look forward to meeting as many of you as I can when in Australia.

7 February 2010 Hi there. When I get on that plane to Australia tomorrow I will be happy in the knowledge that the three campuses with 1,319 students and 380 staff will be continuing on under the guidance of the great leadership teams we have in place. I’m so looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and telling you all the latest news of the school. Please check the itinerary on the website by clicking on ROAD TRIP at regular intervals as it is being updated throughout the next three months – there are events at destinations all over Australia being confirmed every day as I crisscross the nation. You never know – I may be just around the corner from you at some time at an event where I can share some good stories and a few laughs! And if I’m not, I will be back in September and October later in the year so get in early and email me with your plans for an event in your area and we will see if we can arrange a visit then. We have just launched our 2010 APPEAL – click on this and check it out! As you can understand, our building needs continue to be massive as we struggle to keep up with the growing population of the St Jude’s ‘family’. And you can’t imagine what it’s like trying to feed them all as well – we use over 60 tons of corn and soy beans a year for a start!
