PDG Trigger Tregurtha outlined the organisation of Rotary Australia
World Community Service
(RAWCS) throughout the Rotary Districts in Australia and explained that D.9640 was at the southern end of the Northern Region. PDG Trigger is Chairman of D.9640 RAWCS Committee. Charles Warrell was a member of a party of volunteers from Tweed Heads South Rotary Club who undertook a project in a remote location of PNG last year. His address was supported by an excellent video of the location as well as a most impressive documentation illustrated by numerous photos. Charles spoke of the immense satisfaction of completing a project to benefit the people living in an isolated area and indicated that his experience was such that he would be volunteering for other projects. |
