Rotary
Peace Centers call for applications
|
|
Do you know a non-Rotarian, midcareer professional
interested in conflict resolution, peace-building, and mediation? Is this
person ready to learn new skills, become better equipped to help prevent
and resolve conflict worldwide, and lead others toward peace? If so, you
may have found an ideal candidate for the Rotary Peace
Centers
program, which offers fellowships to pursue a master's degree or
professional development certificate in fields related to peace and
conflict resolution. This program helps promising leaders expand their
global outlook, strengthen their negotiation skills, and ultimately make
a positive impact on future peace and conflict resolution efforts
worldwide. Download the application.

Promote Rotary Peace
Fellowships with social media
|
|
Start promoting the Rotary Peace
Centers program online through social media. Make sure to visit the
official Rotary Peace Centers Facebook page to learn more about the program. You may also
want to post a link to the
program's official page on the RI website to your personal Facebook page,
or start a conversation about the program on LinkedIn. If you want to spread the word using Twitter,
make sure to add hashtags to your
tweet using keywords that describe the program, such as #peace, #fellowship, or #conflictresolution. Continue promoting
the Rotary Peace Centers by forwarding your posts on social networking
sites to prospective candidates and advertising this opportunity on a
local community-service-oriented or volunteer blog, or on a community
discussion board. Have another idea for promoting this program? Send your
tip to pr@rotary.org.

Did you know that Rotary PR Tips reaches more
than 6,000 people in 115 countries from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe?
It's a great opportunity to learn how the media works and how other
cultures promote their projects. What PR tip would you share with
readers? Send it to pr@rotary.org.
