                              Visit by our District Governor:

Left: Peter Robinson, District Governor of Rotary District 9640 with John Tunnicliff, President of Parkwood Rotary Club, during a visit to the club by the District Governor on 29 September 2009.

During his address the District Governor emphasised the importance of Rotary FELLOWSHIP AND FRIENDSHIP.

He pointed out that an important aspect of Rotary was effective community service, both local and international.

The public image of Rotary was in the hands of each individual Rotarian through commitment to high ethical standards in our vocations, daily lives and Rotary service. 

He concluded by saying that the future of Rotary was in our hands.

A donation of $800 to Labrador State School P and C:

On 18 September 2009 President John Tunnicliff  presented cheque for $800
 to the P & C of Labrador State School, being proceeds from the “Aqua” BBQ.
