Make Rotary your Home Page
How many of us connect to the Internet and immediately see a default home page? This may have been set by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or by some other software but rarely, if ever, will it have been chosen by you. This can be easily remedied. Your Home Page is your choice! Why not keep abreast of the latest Rotary news? The address (called the ‘URL’) of the Parkwood Rotary Club Website is: http://rotarnet.com.au/users/9/96452/index.html To make this address your Home Page follow these simple steps: In Internet ExplorerStart Internet Explorer. Go to Tools\Internet Options - General You will then see a box entitled “Home Page” and an address following the word “Address:”. Click in the box next to the old address. Backspace to remove the old address and then type the address above. Save your changes. Next time you start Internet Explorer or when you click on the Home button you will go straight to the Rotary page. In Firefox the procedure is the same as for Internet Explorer except that it comes under the Main heading. Easy! Enjoy your surfing and keep up with Rotary happenings the easy way.
