Meeting of 17 November 2010
Photo left to right:
PRIT Brian Knowles AM; Susan Tyrrell (winner of the quiz excluding past RI Directors)Teresa Dawson, Chairperson for the meeting; and Doug Brown, District 9640 Rotary Foundation Committee Chairman.

Doug conducted a thought provoking quiz relating to The Rotary Foundation and our lack of knowledge of this important aspect of Rotary was very apparent when the top score was 10 out of 20.

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. This and many other aspects of the Foundation both within this District and worldwide were highlighted during the quiz.
PP John Tunnicliff welcomed Doug as our guest and thanked him for his Rotary Foundation program.
