First held at Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast in 1997 the Capricorn
Coast Art Festival has continued to grow and attract major
sponsors. As it enters its 12th year it is one of the
most significant art festivals in regional Queensland and has national
recognition.

In the year 2000, the Club commissioned 
Mr. Maurice Lempire a sculptor from Clermont who using skills
learnt from
European master craftsman created the "Spirit
Stone". A Federation Gift from Rotary to the people of Livingstone
Shire.

- This year's judge is Ms Maureen Hansen and total prize money is $20,000 across 13 categories. A large number of local companies have generously supported the Festival in 2008 - see the Entry Form for details.
