The Bundaberg Rotary Club was charted in 1929. It was instrumental in sponsoring the Maryborough club in 1931, Gayndah (1948), Monto (1950), Childers (1961), East Bundaberg (1968) and West Bundaberg (1969).

There are now six Rotary Clubs in Bundaberg.

Over the years, our club has carried out beautification work by establishing Parks throughout the City, aided Youth and the Aged by raising funds or doing actual work on a voluntary basis on buildings or landscaping.
From 1946 until 1979 the Club ran the Rotary Fete which became one of the City's major annual fund raising events.
Since 1978, we've run Agro Trend which has become one of the City's major annual events.
We've raised in excess of $600,000.00 from Agro Trend which has been donated mostly to local charities and organisations.
