During recent years, Magill Sunrise Rotary has developed very strong and successful partnerships with Mary MacKillop College (for youth programs), Campbelltown City Council (for community programs) and District 9520 (for other Rotary programs).  Please visit their websites for more information about these organisations and some of the programs.

More About Our Programs

Mary MacKillop College has programmed a comprehensive schedule of activities throughout the school year which enables students to access many of Rotary’s programs – and for members of our club to support the school and its students.

The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund makes available funds for medical and health research.  It has a major emphasis is on mental illness research and awareness but also funds scholarships for indigenous Australians, bowelscan programs, rural health scholarships and health surveys.

The National Youth Science Forum is a national program that seeks to inspire and encourage future generations of scientists and engineers.  Rotary selects the students who receive an opportunity to learn about what life in the sciences really means at a 12-day residential session.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program is a leadership training seminar for young 18-25 year olds.  The week long residential program encourages and develops leadership and social skills of the potential leaders selected by Rotary Clubs.

Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN) aims to communicate to young people a series of ideas, problems and social experiences which will assist them in forming their own values and moral standards and broaden their horizons culturally, socially and academically.

The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries.

The Youth Exchange Program is an international project which enables young people between the ages of 15 and 19 years to travel to distant parts of the world and study for one year.  The program is a rewarding experience for the student, club members and host families.
