During recent years, Magill Sunrise Rotary has
developed very strong and successful partnerships with Mary MacKillop College
(for youth programs), Campbelltown City Council
(for community programs) and District 9520
(for other Rotary programs).

Mary MacKillop College has programmed a comprehensive
schedule of activities throughout the school year which enables students to
access many of Rotary’s programs – and for members of our club to support
the school and its students.

|

|
The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund
makes available funds for medical and health research. It has a major emphasis is on
mental illness research and awareness but also funds scholarships for
indigenous Australians, bowelscan programs, rural health scholarships and
health surveys.

|

|
The National Youth Science Forum is a national
program that seeks to inspire and encourage future generations of
scientists and engineers.
Rotary selects the students who receive an opportunity to learn
about what life in the sciences really means at a 12-day residential
session.

|

|
The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
program is a leadership training seminar for young 18-25 year olds. The week long residential program
encourages and develops leadership and social skills of the potential
leaders selected by Rotary Clubs.
|
|

|
Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)
aims to communicate to young people a series of ideas, problems and social
experiences which will assist them in forming their own values and moral
standards and broaden their horizons culturally, socially and academically.
|
|

|
The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a
unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and
professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40. The program
provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in
different countries.
|
|

|
The Youth Exchange Program is an international
project which enables young people between the ages of 15 and 19 years to
travel to distant parts of the world and study for one year. The program is a rewarding experience
for the student, club members and host families.

Object of Rotary
|

The Object
of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy
enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST. The development of
acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND. High ethical standards in
business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful
occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an
opportunity to serve society;
THIRD. The application of the ideal
of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH. The advancement of international
understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business
and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
