She’s back! Outbound Youth Exchange Student Penny Butler, spent 2006 in Denmark and has
‘done us proud’. Follow the

Denmark adventure.
The 2007 District 9520 Conference was held in May in the Barossa Valley. A big contingent from the Club
registered for the action-packed 3 day program plus entertainment,
information and a fair bit of inspiration (and a visit to a winery or two and
other local attractions).
Why

Magill Sunrise’s 10th Birthday was celebrated with style, pride and plenty of
laughs during a recent Sunday lunch.
Many of our charter and past members, family and friends joined us for
the special occasion. See some photos.

Our Club has further developed Nightingale Park in Magill.
Since 1996, our club has contributed significant dollars, time and manual
effort to its restoration and development. Recent additions
including a free gas BBQ provided by our Club, have seen it become a very
popular family venue.
The 2006 District 9520 Conference was held on the 6th to 9th
April in Broken Hill. The action-packed
3 day program ensured club members attending were constantly entertained,
informed and inspired by outstanding speakers plus have a few chances to
enjoy the “real Australia”.
Alola Foundation Project
–President Maureen continues to report on the on-going interest and support
being given to the Alola Foundation to assist the women and children of East
Timor. Total fundraising is now
approaching $4,000- plus a container-load of donated goods. <Click here> to read more.
New faces are always welcome at the Rotary Club
of Magill Sunrise. Rotarians
from local clubs and around the world are regularly visiting, but it was a
really special treat to be able to welcome 3 New Members at one of our recent meetings.
