Award Winning Performances

Many of you know that the Rotary Club of Magill Sunrise deserves all the accolades it receives (and more) - and that our club members comprise a group of gifted individuals.

These attributes were recognised in small measure at the Barossa District Conference when Magill Sunrise collected 2 prestigious awards.

1. Best International Service Project – for its work to the Alola project.

2. Yo-Yo Champion of the Conference – for best (biggest?) kid on show.

Both awards were won in the face of tough competition – and neither would have been possible without a lot of support from club members.

Past President Maureen Kelly has conveyed her congratulations to the club on the recognition for the Alola project and again thanked people who picked up goods, donated time or money, packed boxes, etc - and the club for its financial support to send off full the container to Timor Leste.
