The Beginnings of the Rotary Club of
Magill Sunrise In 1995,
the Rotary Club of Morialta proposed to the 9520 District Committee, that a
new club be formed in the Magill area.
Interested business and professional people were approached to meet at
the University fo South Australia’s Magill Campus Canteen. After meeting for six months as a
Provisional Rotary Club and reaching a membership number of over 25, the Club
was Chartered on May 25th 1996 by the District Governor (1995-1996) Alan
Lawrie. The Rotary Club of Magill Sunrise is in District 9520
which flows into 3 states of Australia.
