Vale: PP David Tuckwell
28 April 1932 – 6 February 2011
David was inducted into the Rotary Club of Campbelltown on 7 January 1974,
he became President 1984/5, and served two terms as Secretary in 1982/3 and 1998/9.
He received recognition with a Paul Harris Fellow 1988, with a Sapphire pin 2006.
His regular attendance at meetings was notable.
He was always involved in a wide range of Club activities, including fellowship, fundraising, general working bees for community service and bush trips.
He was co-organiser of CROE: Campbelltown Rotary Outback Experience on all 3 occasions.
His friendly smile and warm greeting, his willing hand for whatever task came up, and his sometimes out- spoken, but usually logical, views on matters controversial will be greatly missed.
