DONATIONS IN KIND     (DIK)

What we do

Purpose: Donations in Kind in Australia grew out of the desire of returning FAIM team members to continue to offer material support to schools and communities in which they had been operating.  The need to coordinate the gathering, storage and despatch of goods was obvious and the organisation known as DIK was set up.

Location: DIK’s warehouse is off Taranaki Rd and East Ave, Edinburgh (but suggest you phone first for directions).

Want to find the DIK warehouse? Click Here.

Next Event: EVERY CLUB IN D9500 & D9520 has been requested to assist by having working Bees at DIK to sort, unpack, pack and load containers of various donated items. Clubs can also collect goods and provide financial support.

Contact DIK if you haven’t confirmed your club’s schedule, wish to make changes or …

Comment: Funding is required to assist with the shipping of goods, which are generally sent by the container load.

DIK is always on the look-out for serviceable goods, particularly anything suited to education and health.  However, please check on the need and suitability of equipment before sending it to the warehouse.
