The new sign at Murray Bridge which
is a joint Murray Bridge -
Mobilong Rotary project
erected at the main intersection of
Bridge St and Swanport Rd at the
Traffic Lights.
Points of
Interest in this Project
- Both the Rotary Clubs
of Murray Bridge and Mobilong
agreed to share the cost of the sign. (Approx $17,000)
- Only not-for-profit organisations
can advertise on the screen and no other commercial
advertising allowed on sign itself.
- Cost to advertise is $50 per week.
- No cost to Council or Rotary to
promote an event.
- Up
to six adverts can run on
a particular sequence.
- Council is in charge of putting
messages up on the screen.
- Council do the invoicing for
charging out.
- Income is split 3 equal ways -
Council, RC M/Bridge and RC Mobilong.
- Public response is very pleasing.
