website has most of the information you will need to initiate a new shadehouse
project or maintain an existing program in your school. If you are at a school and are interested in starting up a native plant propagation program, seeking help from your local Rotary Club, but don't know who or how to make contact, you should contact the office of Rotary International in Australia on phone: (02) 9635 3536, or fax: (02) 9689 3169. If you are a member of a Rotary Club; you need to identify a school that understands the committment involved and is willing to dedicate two members of staff to overseeing the project. Go to 'New Shadehouse' for details on how to proceed once you have agreement from your school, retirement centre or other. If you are a member of a Landcare Group; seeking information on schools in your vicinity who may be interested in linking in with your group's activities, you will find a list of participating schools and contact details in the ' section' (awaiting information) You may also wish to contact a Rotary Club for help with establishing a shadehouse, in which case you should inquire with the office of Rotary International on ph: (02) 9635 3537, fax: 902) 9689 3169 and they will direct you to you local club or visit the Rotary Down Under web site (rotarnet) District index If you are an environmental education/ project facilitator click for a list of participating schools .
