General
- All photographs are to have a Rotary theme.
- Whilst not mandatory, photographs will be enhanced by some obvious Rotary mark, ie: a Rotary emblem on a wall in the background, a Rotary t-shirt or cap.
- Entries in the inaugural competition will close at 5 pm on June 30, 2005, and focus will be on photographs from Rotary's Centenary Year activities.
- From July 1, 2005, the competition will be conducted over each complete Rotary year, with winners announced in the September issue of Rotary Down Under.
- Closing dates for each subsequent competition will be 5pm on June 30th
- All contestants must be a Rotary Down Under subscriber, or a family member of a subscriber.
- The decision of the judging panel will be final.
- Entries in the competition may be delivered to Rotary Down Under, PO Box 779, Parramatta, 2124, NSW, Australia; or by using the Online Entry Form at www.rotarnet.com.au/photography_competition/register.htm.
- Digital photographs MUST be at least 300 pixels per inch (ppi) to be accepted.
- Digital photographs MUST be in JPEG format.
- All entries become the property of Rotary Down Under and will be added to the magazine pictorial library.
- All photographs must be entirely the owners work
- The winner will be notified by post, telephone or email.
- Rotary Down Under may use selected images for promotion of the event
- Images will be approved by Rotary Down Under, images not meeting the standards of the competition will be ineligible for entry.
- Approved entries may be displayed online, with the name, Rotary Club and District of the Entrant, in the Gallery area of the competition web site.
Online Entries
- Online Entries must be submitted through the Online Entry Form, not by email.
- Entries must be received by 5 pm on June 30.
- Rotary Down Under accepts no responsibility for entries not received using the online entry form
- By submitting the Online Entry Form you agree to these rules.
Postal Entries
- Postal Entries must be accompanied with a correctly filled out Entry Form, with full details of the entrant – name, address, Rotary Club, telephone number and email
- Please DO NOT write on the reverse side of the photograph.
- Postal entries must be received by the RDU office in Parramatta, N.S.W., or Auckland, New Zealand, by 5 pm on June 30
