| Let's get together: |
Anglicare Australia is hosting National Family Day on March 25. The purpose of the day encourages all families to celebrate each other by enjoying time together. Celebrations will include family activities and events throughout Australia under the theme Our Families, Our Future. A list of high profile Australians will help Anglicare promote the day. Anglicare's Peter Gardiner said: "Families are the foundation of our society. It only makes sense to have an official day in the year to celebrate this. However, on National Family Day we must also recognise that almost 15 per cent of children in Australia are growing up in families in income." Anglicare has been dedicated to caring for 144 years. Further information is available from Anglicare on (02) 9895 8088 on how to celebrate National Family Day or how to support Anglicare's work with families. |
